Maskeret is an ongoing art project exploring the concept of social masks – the roles, facades, and identities we adopt in order to belong, protect, or perform. Each subject is invited into a collaborative process, where I create a physical mask inspired by their own story, energy, or emotional landscape. They are then asked to wear this mask – quite literally – in front of the camera.

The result is a layered portrait of presence and distance, of hiding and revealing. By turning the abstract idea of “social masks” into something tangible, Maskeret opens up a space to question how we shape ourselves – and how much of that shaping is truly ours.
